Director of Purchasing Opportunity

Specialty Consultants, a leading search firm in the homebuilding industry, is seeking a seasoned Director of Purchasing to join our client, a top local homebuilder in Pinehurst. As the company prepares to double in size next year, this key role will oversee corporate purchasing operations and report directly to the COO.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate materials and labor for residential and light commercial construction projects with precision and accuracy.
  • Effectively communicate project requirements through strong verbal and written skills.
  • Develop and manage performance control models to optimize cost management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Supply Chain Management preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in residential or commercial construction.
  • Familiarity with Marks Systems is a plus.
Location:

Based in the Pinehurst area. Remote candidates are not considered.
