Oak View Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Banquet Captain to join our team. As a Banquet Captain, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing entire banquet functions to ensure proper execution and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee entire banquet function to ensure proper execution and guest satisfaction
  • Review assigned banquet staff functions and banquet menus prior to the scheduled event
  • Conduct pre-banquet meetings with staff to ensure a smooth and successful event
  • Ensure that appropriate quantities of china, glassware, silverware, linens, and other items are available for upcoming events
  • Regularly review banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events to ensure seamless execution

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Experience in a similar role or in the hospitality industry
