Responsibilities:


The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is responsible for delivering both direct and indirect patient care services that require technical expertise and manual skills, adhering to the established scope of practice. This role encompasses addressing the psychosocial, physical, and overall care needs of patients while ensuring effective communication with patients and their families. The LVN operates under the guidance and supervision of a Registered Nurse.


Qualifications:

Education and Work Experience:

  • Possession of a current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire, with maintenance of certification required.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a relevant healthcare setting is preferred.
  • IV certification is required upon hire.
