We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Optical Manager to join our team at BJ's Wholesale Club. As an Optical Manager, you will be responsible for leading our optical department and ensuring that our members receive exceptional service and support.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance to the optical team, ensuring that they are equipped to deliver outstanding service and meet sales targets.
- Team Management: Supervise and develop the skills of optical team members, providing coaching and training to ensure they are able to meet the needs of our members.
- Member Service: Ensure that our members receive exceptional service, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Department Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the optical department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Performance Management: Monitor and analyze department performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive growth and profitability.
- Experience: A minimum of two years' experience in a retail optical setting, with a proven track record of success in leading and managing teams.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with a preference for a college degree or relevant certification.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with members and colleagues.
