Job Summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to join our team at MercyOne Clinton Medical Center. This is a full-time position working night shifts, providing quality patient-centered care to our patients. As a member of our healthcare team, you will be under the direct supervision of a registered professional nurse and will be responsible for assisting patients with activities of daily living, as well as providing physical, emotional, and spiritual care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with feeding, hygiene, bed making, and ambulation
  • Provide physical, emotional, and spiritual care to patients with respect to age-specific and culturally sensitive needs
  • Record and report information such as vital signs, intake and output, weight, and any behavioral changes to supervisory personnel
  • Collect specimens and perform diagnostic procedures as directed
  • Provide care and prevention necessary to keep patients safe
Requirements
  • Certified Nurse Aide, verification of certification from the State of Iowa
  • BLS certification within 3 months of hire
  • High school education or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of three years' experience in a related field preferred
