Senior Systems Engineer

Yusen Logistics is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our server-based technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement server-based technologies for both server installations of software and implementation of server infrastructure.
- Administer backup and restoration processes for all Yusen mission critical systems.
- Create and/or maintain infrastructure security including settings for servers, devices in the DMZ, OS patching, and corporate anti-virus.
- Test configurations and monitor the performance of equipment; troubleshoot and resolve problems.
- Document installation procedures for applications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or other related field.
- 4-6 years' experience in a large multi-server, multi-site, 24x7 environment using skills such as installation of server infrastructure, server software upgrades/patches, functional systems design, networking protocols, technical project management, data analysis, Microsoft Windows server administration, Unix server administration, clustered systems administration, VMWare/Hypervisor virtual server administration, Azure, AWS.
- Familiarity with SQL databases, DevOps, and basic understanding of Microsoft SQL including security, maintenance jobs, query execution.
- One or more of the certifications listed below is highly desired: Microsoft Certified Software Engineer, Cisco Certified Network Associate, VMWare Certified Professional, Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, Google).
