- Perform routine medical procedures and examinations in accordance with standard medical care and specialty guidelines.
- Diagnose and treat patients under the supervision of a licensed physician.
- Maintain required credentials and engage in ongoing education to stay current with industry developments.
- Document patient evaluations, medications, treatments, and test results accurately and efficiently.
- Evaluate patient symptoms and develop effective treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and inform patients of potential risks associated with their use.
- Supervise Medical Assistants to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Consult patients on nutrition, fitness, and hygiene practices.
- Meet contract production goals and engage in quality measures to improve patient outcomes.
- Complete documentation and coding within 72 hours of service.
- Must be a graduate of a recognized Physician Assistant training program.
- Demonstrate competency in primary care services for patients across the life cycle.
- Hold state and DEA licensure.
- Work in a typical outpatient clinic environment with occasional travel to other facilities in central Wyoming.
- Ability to understand and respond sensitively to special population groups, including those defined by race, ethnicity, language, age, sex, economic standing, and disabilities.
