A prominent asset management firm is seeking to enhance its Operational Risk Group by adding a dedicated Analyst. The ideal candidate will possess over a year of relevant experience and a solid understanding of vendor risk management concepts.
Role Overview:
In this position, you will be tasked with executing comprehensive risk evaluations across the organization and contributing to the formulation of strategies aimed at monitoring, reporting, and alleviating the firm's risk exposures. Furthermore, you will play a key role in the implementation and ongoing enhancement of the organization's Third Party Risk Management framework.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough risk assessments to bolster the Operational Risk Management framework.
2. Collaborate with senior management to accurately identify and report risks, as well as devise remediation strategies.
3. Work alongside cross-functional teams to ensure robust plans are established to mitigate risk exposures.
4. Assist in the development and upkeep of Third Party Risk Management policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in Operational Risk or a related field.
2. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a comparable discipline.
3. Understanding of Vendor Risk Management principles.
4. Proficiency in Excel.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
