Key Responsibilities- Technical Solution Discovery: Lead technical solution discovery with larger enterprise-level merchants to identify their technical requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
- Solution Proposal and Design: Create innovative solution proposals and designs utilizing customers' suite of API products, including Braintree Credit Card, PayPal Wallet, Venmo, Simility, Hyperwallet, and others.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with internal product and technology teams to define the necessary enhancements to support delivery, and provide leadership within the team to mentor junior members on solution-related issues.
- Technical Expertise: Develop and maintain technical expertise in the internal product set and identify potential solutions for new merchant relationships.
- Integration and Solution Design: Develop Solution Designs and Solution Design templates that can be used for future integrations with enterprise merchants, and provide leadership in the development of these solutions.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field, plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. You will also need to have expertise in the following areas:
- Payment Ecosystem: Payment ecosystem comprising Acquirors, Gateways, Processors, Banks, and Merchants.
- Online Payment Solutions: Online Payment Solutions including but not limited to: PayPal, Braintree, Chase, AmEx, FirstData, Google Pay, Apple Pay.
- Regulatory Compliance: Regulatory agency (SEC, DOJ, FINRA), corporate compliance program.
- Security and Data Protection: Payment Card Industry/Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- API and Software Architecture: REST API, SDK, GraphQL, API lifecycle management, HTTPS, API, REST, VPN's, complex software product architecture.
- Merchant Integration: Merchants to support the end-to-end integration for Web, Mobile, and Kiosk based Payments.
Any suitable combination of education, training, and experience is acceptable. Experience can be gained through academic coursework, scholastic achievement, or work experience. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
