Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Unit Coordinator to join our team at Northern Light Mercy Hospital. As a key member of our OB-GYN Unit, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate unit activities, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
  • Process physician orders, transcribe orders, and flag charts appropriately.
  • Coordinate the safe transport of patients and other items as directed.
  • Maintain a safe environment, complying with NLH policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/General Educational Development (GED) required.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
Working Conditions

This is a PRN position, requiring variable shift schedules, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends. The successful candidate will be able to lift, move, and load 30 to 50 pounds.
