Responsibilities
  • Assist Speech Language Pathologists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' communication needs and develop strategies to support their progress.
  • Implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist, using evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure consistent support for students with communication disorders.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of student progress and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communication Disorders or a related field.
  • Illinois SLPA or SLP license.
  • Experience working with students with communication disorders in a school setting.
