Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master/Agile Coach to join our team. As a key member of our agile transformation initiative, you will be responsible for providing effective collaboration, facilitation, and servant leadership to our teams. Your expertise in agile methodologies will enable you to remove impediments, promote transparency, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Organize and facilitate Scrum/Kanban team events to ensure efficient workflow and collaboration.
- Work closely with Product Owners and cross-functional development teams to support their agile journey and software delivery.
- Teach, coach, and mentor teams on user story creation, prioritization, estimation, and product backlog grooming.
- Develop and implement data-driven metrics to measure team performance and drive improvement.
- Resolve or escalate blocking impediments as necessary to ensure team success.
- Coordinate dependencies between teams and collaborate with other Agile practitioners to achieve common goals.
- Work with management to design effective teams and ensure development teams are working efficiently towards Sprint goals.
- Coach teams and stakeholders on how to use Agile and frameworks like Scrum and Kanban.
- Ensure teams are practicing core agile principles, including collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.
- Recommend improvements and assist in changes to best practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Certified Scrum Master with 2+ years of experience as an Agile practitioner/Scrum Master.
- 2+ years of information technology experience.
- Experience working with an agile mindset on large-scale, technically complex projects.
- Demonstrated experience working in and leading teams that leverage software engineering practices such as Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration processes.
- Self-motivated and pragmatic with a strong desire for continuous improvement.
- Data-driven analysis skills to drive continuous improvement.
- Experience using Azure DevOps is a plus.
- Excellent team player with the ability to influence and negotiate.
- Highly adaptable to changing environments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
- Situational awareness with an understanding of when to listen and when to be assertive.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to conduct educational classes and various workshops.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Information Systems, or Engineering; or equivalent work experience.
