POSITION OVERVIEW
The Quality Control Manager is tasked with upholding quality standards and protocols across all construction and industrial service initiatives. This role is vital in safeguarding the quality of AIS Infrastructure's outputs, ensuring client satisfaction, and fostering a culture centered on safety and excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Formulate and enforce quality control protocols and guidelines for construction and industrial service projects.
- Conduct routine inspections and audits to evaluate adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Detect and rectify any quality-related issues, non-conformities, or deficiencies in construction methods, materials, or workmanship.
- Collaborate with project teams to devise corrective actions and preventive strategies to enhance quality performance.
- Examine project plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure they meet quality requirements.
- Offer guidance and support to project teams regarding quality control practices and expectations.
- Facilitate training sessions to improve the understanding of quality standards and procedures among project staff.
- Oversee the execution of quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Compile reports and documentation to monitor and communicate quality performance metrics.
- Engage in quality-related meetings and contribute insights to improve overall project quality.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Preferred certifications in quality control or quality management (e.g., Certified Quality Manager, Certified Quality Engineer).
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the construction sector, particularly in quality control.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes.
- Familiarity with relevant quality control tools, equipment, and software.
- Strong understanding of quality control principles, methodologies, and best practices in construction and industrial services.
- Exceptional attention to detail and capability to identify and resolve quality-related challenges.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities to evaluate situations and develop suitable solutions.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Travel to various project sites may be necessary depending on project locations.
