Resident Care Manager

Quail Park of Lynnwood is seeking a compassionate and skilled Resident Care Manager to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of care and support for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage care giving staff, including hiring, training, evaluations, and performance management
  • Develop and post schedules to ensure adequate daily staffing
  • Communicate with staff regarding meetings, trainings, and after-hours staffing concerns
  • Coordinate care team orientation and trainings with the HR Manager
  • Assist in coordinating daily administrative and care giving functions of the Community under the direction of the Executive Director
  • Organize supplies and materials, prepare work orders for the maintenance department as required
  • Manage care team for completion of housekeeping duties
  • Assist nursing staff in communication with residents, families, physicians, and other outside healthcare providers
  • Assist with the maintenance of resident records
  • Supervise the personal care of residents and assist in monitoring their wellbeing and environment
  • Review and understand all resident individual service plans and ensure they accurately reflect resident care needs
Requirements:
  • CNA license or previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting
  • Ability to establish effective relationships with residents, family members, and team members
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
  • Basic computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to develop systems for monitoring resident health conditions and ensuring efficient and safe delivery of resident care
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to re-prioritize daily tasks to accommodate fluctuating needs of residents and the community
