This position necessitates collaboration with various hospital units to guarantee that the Operating Rooms are adequately prepared, thereby ensuring a secure environment for patients undergoing surgery. The technician is also tasked with the upkeep and sanitation of anesthesia apparatus and materials.
Key Responsibilities:- Procure supplies for the Anesthesia Department
- Restock Operating Rooms with essential equipment
- Sanitize anesthesia machines and carts
- Manage inventory of medications and replace expired items
- Organize and maintain the anesthesia supply area
- Assist with scheduled maintenance and repairs of equipment
- Transport necessary items throughout the facility
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols
- Respond effectively in emergency situations
Requirements:
A High School diploma is required
Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred
Core Competencies:Ability to maintain professionalism and composure under pressure

- Perform various manual and coordination tasks

The responsibilities associated with this role may adapt based on the evolving needs of White Plains Hospital. Salary Range: $52,472.36-$78, based on full-time employment.
