Accounts Payable Clerk Job Description

We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Franklin Furnace, Ohio. As a key member of our accounting team, you'll be responsible for managing accounts payable, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and processing accounts payable invoices
  • Coding and entering expense invoices into our system
  • Obtaining department approval for payments
  • Communicating with creditors and vendors
  • Assisting with monthly billings and closings
  • Preparing financial analyses and reports
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Understanding of accounting principles and procedures
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
