We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to lead the implementation of our Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS). As a key member of our Professional Services team, you will be responsible for defining client requirements, configuring and tuning the application to meet their business and technical needs, training users, testing workflows, and resolving issues before taking the client live.
Key Responsibilities- Lead or directly contribute to CRIMS implementations, analyzing and evaluating requirements while providing product expertise and guidance throughout the project.
- Assist other members of the Professional Services team and develop and share best practices.
- Analyze and evaluate customer requirements to help Charles River respond to sales opportunities, prepare and deliver sales presentations, and execute proof-of-concept projects to demonstrate the potential of CRIMS.
- Educate customers on the methodologies and functionality provided by CRIMS, advise on best practices regarding implementation and operation, and monitor and evaluate customer requirements to identify potential enhancements.
- Contribute to software quality by communicating defects to Client Support and Product Management, supporting the defect resolution process, and identifying errors and mistakes in documentation.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with the implementation of mission-critical financial solutions, preferably in the financial industry.
- Hands-on experience with post-trade workflows, trade confirmation via matching platforms, and middle-office workflows, security life cycle events, and corporate action processing.
- Experience implementing investment management software, preferably an order management and compliance system.
- Business Systems Analyst experience/skillset and proficiency with SQL.
- Understanding of multi-tier technical architectures, messaging systems, and relational database structures.
- Strong record of customer service, ability to work within a team environment, and focus on providing a high quality of service to the customer.
- Strong time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.
- Strong problem-solving/analytical skills.
