We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Service Center Assistant Manager to join our team at Blain's Farm & Fleet. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for assisting the Service Center Manager in overseeing the Service Technicians and the Automotive Service Center.
Key Responsibilities- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner
- Provide technical assistance and training to service technicians and advisors
- Supervise Service Center associates and ensure they are meeting performance expectations
- Perform technician responsibilities as needed, including performing repairs and maintenance on vehicles
- Demonstrate awareness and compliance with Loss Prevention and safety policies
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in automotive maintenance and repair is preferred
- Prior supervisory experience is preferred
- Prior retail experience is preferred
- Able to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
- Able to attain an ASE Certification in A4 Steering and Suspension and A5 brakes within one year of hire date
- Ability to read and speak English and communicate with customers and co-workers
- Competitive base pay up to $26.00/hr with annual performance-based merit raises
