Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement HSE Programs: Collaborate with plant management to develop and implement effective HSE programs, policies, and procedures that meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct Training and Awareness: Provide training and awareness programs for employees on HSE policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Investigate Incidents and Near Misses: Conduct thorough investigations of incidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Ensure Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE regulations, standards, and company policies, and maintain accurate records and reports.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with local leadership, employees, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- 3+ Years of HSE Experience: Proven experience in HSE roles, with a strong understanding of HSE regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in Computer Programs: Proficiency in computer programs such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Attention to Detail and Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or Engineering: A bachelor's degree in environmental science or engineering, or a related field of study.
- Professional Certifications: Professional certifications such as ASP, CSP, or CIH.
- Experience with ISO14001 and 45001: Experience implementing and maintaining ISO14001 and 45001 standards.
