Job Summary

As a Radiology Technologist at Corpus Christi Medical Center, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients. Your expertise will be essential in obtaining accurate diagnostic images, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and collaborating with radiologists to provide excellent patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain quality diagnostic images using various imaging modalities, including X-ray, CT, and MRI.
  • Scan in labels and document patient information accurately and efficiently.
  • Resolve quality assurance issues in a timely manner to ensure high-quality images.
  • Release images to radiologists in a timely manner to facilitate prompt diagnosis and treatment.
  • Ensure orders are valid and entered correctly to avoid delays in patient care.
  • Transport patients as needed to ensure their comfort and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited or registered School of Radiology.
  • Current registration with A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
  • Current certification with the Texas Department of Health (CMRT) is required.
  • American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification is required.
  • One year of previous experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
