Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist ARRT to join our team at Corpus Christi Medical Center. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients. Your expertise and attention to detail will ensure that our patients receive accurate and timely diagnoses, enabling our medical team to provide the best possible care.
Responsibilities- Obtain high-quality diagnostic images using various imaging modalities, including routine diagnostic x-rays, portable x-rays, and fluoroscopy.
- Scan labels and document patient information accurately and efficiently.
- Resolve quality assurance issues in a timely manner to ensure optimal image quality.
- Release images to radiologists in a timely manner to facilitate prompt diagnosis and treatment.
- Verify orders and enter them accurately to ensure that patients receive the appropriate imaging services.
- Transport patients as needed to ensure their comfort and safety.
- Graduate of an accredited or registered School of Radiology.
- Current registration with A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists).
- Current certification with the Texas Department of Health (CMRT).
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification.
- One year of previous experience in a hospital environment preferred.
