Job Summary

Flagship Facility Services is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team in Clearwater, FL. As a Floor Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our clients' facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for occupants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform floor care duties, including scrubbing, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extracting, and mopping
  • Review assignments with Supervisor and gather necessary equipment and products
  • Wear safety belts while performing work assignments and use wet floor signs to ensure a safe working environment
  • Record time worked and products used, and inform lead person of completed assignments
  • Meet all company safety rules and regulations, and maintain a neat and orderly appearance at all times
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in commercial facilities and building maintenance
  • Knowledge of basic floor care duties and responsibilities
  • Ability to operate floor care equipment, including automatic scrubbers, buffers, shampoo machines, extractors, and wet vacuums
  • Good listening and verbal communication skills
Work Environment:

Small-to-large office environments with moderate noise levels. Regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk, or hear. Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time.
