About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. As a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care to Medical Surgical patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Perform various medical procedures, such as inserting IVs, taking blood samples, and applying dressings.
  • Document patient information, including medical history, medications, and treatment plans, in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire - if practicing within this state.
  • 1 year Nursing experience.
