Job Summary
This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in construction office support tasks, including meeting minute taking, tracking log processing, and department deliverables. You will attend meetings with internal and external teams, observe on-site material testing, and assist with basic shop drawing reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with construction office support tasks, such as taking minutes, processing tracking logs, and other department deliverables.
- Attend and observe meetings with internal and external teams of a project.
- Observe on-site material testing and may assist with basic shop drawing reviews.
- Conduct basic research and data collection.
- Read construction drawings and materials, providing feedback as requested.
- Assist on portions of special projects as directed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary construction services program.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of 2 years of post-secondary construction services program.
Estimated Salary: $18-$22 per hour (dependent on location and qualifications), approximately $36,000-$44,800 for a 20-hour workweek summer internship. HNTB offers competitive pay and benefits to its interns.
