Responsibilities:
  • Assist with patient care activities, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and performing routine specimen collection and tests.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Work closely with our primary care physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Contribute to a positive and team-oriented work environment by maintaining a high level of professionalism, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited medical assistant certification program at time of hire (with certification), or within 180 days of employment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and other external parties.
  • Maintains MA and CPR certifications (and actions required for recertifications) (CPR within 30 days of employment).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
