Occupational Therapist PRN Opportunity with Resilient Healthcare

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist PRN to join our team at Resilient Healthcare. As a member of our healthcare community, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with physical, mental, or developmental conditions to achieve independence and confidence in their daily living and work skills.
About the Role
- As an Occupational Therapist PRN, you will be responsible for developing, recovering, or maintaining the daily living and work skills of our clients through effective and client-centered services.
- You will assess each client's unique needs and create personalized plans to enhance their engagement in occupations that promote health, well-being, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Client-Centered Services: Provide individualized occupational therapy interventions to address client's aspects of performance, supporting engagement in occupations that impact health, well-being, and life quality.
- Treatment Planning: Select and adapt the most suitable occupational therapy treatment model, method, and approach to direct the process of interventions, ensuring maximum safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL).
- Education and Training: Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks, educate them on breaking down activities into achievable components, and recommend adaptive equipment for optimal use.
- Environment Assessment: Assess client's home and other environments, providing guidance on alterations consistent with their needs and capabilities.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly observe, note, and report on progress of long- and short-term treatment goals, collecting data and documenting processes followed.
Requirements
- Proven working experience as an occupational therapist
- Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of occupational therapy
- Familiarity with ADLs evaluation tools (e.g., Katz ADL scale, Lawton IADL scale)
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
- Current knowledge of treatment practices per discipline and drive to continually learn and grow in the profession
- Professional behavior
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Valid license to practice occupational therapy
- BS degree or greater in occupational therapy
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and continuing education opportunities.
