Job Summary

Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform duties of circulating, scrub, and monitoring of invasive cardiology procedures, demonstrating a strong understanding of all procedures, equipment, and supplies.

• Operate radiographic equipment, utilizing radiation safety procedures to ensure patient safety.

• Operate physiologic recorder/database system, recognizing arrhythmias and normal/abnormal waveforms, and developing cines as necessary according to policy.

• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and report to Biomed promptly if unable to resolve.

• Exhibit a strong knowledge base of cardiovascular diseases, interpreting data gathered during procedures and recognizing potential implications in patient care or complications.

• Help to efficiently run schedule by maintaining a smooth and steady rate of work, communicating with other room staff and schedule coordinator to maximize productivity.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent in a related field.

• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or Cardiovascular Technologist.

• CPR certified.

• 1 year of experience in a hospital setting required.

Compensation

• $42.28/hour.
