Prokatchers is in search of a travel nurse RN specializing in Medical-Surgical for an exciting opportunity.

Compensation: $1,972.75 per week.

Weekly Schedule: 3x12

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee comprehensive nursing care for patients.
- Engage in patient and family education.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to uphold professional nursing standards.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care strategies in partnership with healthcare professionals.
- Provide direct and personalized bedside nursing care to patients before and after surgical procedures.
- Administer and document prescribed medications accurately.
- Perform tasks such as dressing changes, catheter insertions, and IV starts.
- Adjust and monitor specialized medical equipment as necessary.
- Track patient vitals and report any adverse medication reactions promptly.
- Collaborate on discharge planning with the healthcare team.
- Address inquiries and educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and post-operative care.
- Maintain and update patient records and medical charts.
- Adhere to established nursing practices, standards, and protocols.

Experience Required:
- Medical-Surgical: 2+ years (Preferred)

Licenses/Certifications Required:
- Current RN License issued by the relevant state board or a multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
- Current Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire.
