Job Description

About the Role

The Senior Risk Analyst - iGaming role is responsible for the delivery of analytical and risk-based reviews while utilizing non-bias approaches, tools, and reporting on risk for the iGaming department. The role is responsible for the discovery and organization of risk-based inquiries and case submissions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ability to read, understand, and explain basic financial transactional histories including depositing, wagering, win/loss, and withdrawals.
  • Monitor geolocation data, player statistics, and gameplay history for iGaming fraud trends.
  • Proactively research information to identify new fraud trends and help implement processes to reduce risk.
  • Work closely with Compliance and regulatory bodies to provide regulatory compliance.
  • Effectively communicate the results of investigations to the Director by compiling data and administering ad hoc reports.
  • Monitor and track jackpot wins greater than $40k; perform background checks on jackpot winners; and report the jackpots to regulatory bodies.
  • Assist the customer support team on heightened/complex cases related to Risk/Payments and Know Your Customer (KYC) checks.
  • Collaborate with the Responsible Gaming team in patron reviews.
  • Provide daily transactional data reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions

  • Exposure to casino-related environmental factors including but not limited to second-hand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the casino/hotel areas.
  • Repetitive finger and wrist motion (keyboard data entry) as well as prolonged viewing of data on a computer monitor.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours.
  • Must be able to lift at least 25lbs.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years of risk experience, preferable in casino and/or online gaming.
  • Must have knowledge of Internal Controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Highly analytical with excellent report writing skills.
  • Knowledgeable in online gaming products and how customers interact with said products.
  • Extensive knowledge in Microsoft Excel and all Office products.
  • A confident and articulate communicator capable of inspiring strong collaboration throughout the department and organization.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate with customers and team members in a clear and concise manner.
  • Superior Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Able to work holidays/weekends.
