**Job Summary:**

  • Evaluate patients and interpret evaluation findings to determine the nature and extent of dysfunction.
  • Establish treatment goals and plans to achieve established objectives.
  • Initiate discharge planning for occupational therapy.
  • Implement treatment programs through direct patient interaction.
  • Delegate tasks as needed to supportive personnel.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

  • Regularly assess clinical signs and symptoms to determine effectiveness of treatment and progress towards goals.
  • Modify treatment goals and plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Discharge patients from occupational therapy when maximum benefit has been received.
  • Provide accurate and timely documentation of patient management.

**Qualifications:**

  • Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum with a Bachelor's or Master's degree and certification in occupational therapy.
  • National Provider Identifier required at hire.
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association required at hire.
  • Current CA Occupational Therapy License or eligibility letter prior to first day of employment.

**Work Environment:**

  • Maintain a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
  • Work Monday-Saturday, with possible Sundays if operational needs require.

**Compensation and Benefits:**

Based on national averages and industry standards, we estimate the annual salary for this position to be around $83,000-$110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
