About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Surveyor to join our team at Actalent. As a Surveyor, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients' engineering and science initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze field data using surveying equipment and software to prepare site or building information models and CAD deliverables.
  • Utilize reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, and aerial photographs to assess project needs and develop effective project approaches.
  • Assist in the recovery of survey control and monumentation, construction layout, obtaining invert and subsurface utility information, and photo documentation of the project area.
  • Recommend new approaches and ideas to continuously improve efficiency and services performed.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or higher required; Bachelor's degree in Surveying a plus.
  • Experience in one or both of the following:
  • Topographic, boundary, utility survey, and construction layout.
  • Strong CAD and computer skills (Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Terramodel, Carlson, etc.).
  • Proficient mathematical ability.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Excellent analytical and judgment capabilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well individually and within groups.
  • Travel to project sites and/or client locations, as required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license in good standing.
