Phlebotomist Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist II to join our team at Actalent. As a Phlebotomist II, you will be responsible for collecting blood and other medical specimens from patients in a fast-paced laboratory or hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities- Collect blood and other medical specimens from patients using various techniques, including venipuncture and capillary puncture.
- Label and process specimens according to established procedures and protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of specimen collection and processing.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and DEP regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and laboratory staff.
- Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
- Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- High School Diploma or GED.
