Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Actalent. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a critical role in assisting in the collection of blood and other specimens for laboratory testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and process blood and other specimens for laboratory testing
  • Ensure accurate and efficient specimen collection and processing
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to OSHA and DEP regulations
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
  • Perform venipunctures and other specimen collection procedures
  • Label and store specimens according to established procedures
  • Package and transport specimens to laboratories
Requirements
  • Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed
  • Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • High School Diploma or GED
