Medical Telemetry Nurse

ChristianaCare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our 5N Medical Telemetry Unit. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of 5 medical patients per shift, providing individualized care and support to meet their unique needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Deliver care that supports adult patients facing acute illnesses, maintaining their function, providing education, and ensuring safety.
- Engage in a relationship-based care model, building strong relationships with patients, families, and peers, guided by our values of love and excellence.
Our 5N Medical Telemetry Unit is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing a wide range of learning experiences. You will work in a team atmosphere, caring for patients with diverse diagnoses, including pneumonia, COPD, HF, stroke, change in mental status, diabetes, wounds, UTI, pancreatitis, and cellulitis.
