Job Summary

Professional Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill the role of Patient Care Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initial Patient Contact: Greet and check in patients, ensuring accurate and complete patient information is collected.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Manage appointment scheduling to ensure efficient use of our healthcare professionals' time.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, maintaining patient records, and collecting copays and patient balances as needed.
  • Communication: Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries, directing them to the appropriate department or healthcare professional as needed.
  • Record Keeping: Collect and update patient information to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in computer skills and ability to learn new software systems.
