Digital Media Coordinator and Web Strategist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Media Coordinator and Web Strategist to join our team at Edison State Community College. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the content management of our website, ensuring that it is logical, intuitive, and easy to navigate.
The ideal candidate will have strong design skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. They must also be able to manage multiple projects from inception to completion while adhering to time and budget constraints.
About the Role
As a Digital Media Coordinator and Web Strategist, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining digital forms, landing page strategies, and third-party platform interfaces to assist the College in acquiring new students, promoting programs and services, and providing an enhanced user experience.
- Assisting with the integration of electronic media throughout the college campus.
- Consulting and collaborating with internal stakeholders to provide precise and timely formatting and updating of crucial departmental and course-specific information on the College's website and/or third-party integrations.
- Oversseeing the generation and editing of various forms of website content, including video, digital publications, and digital applications and forms.
- Participating as an active member of the Marketing Team, maintaining consistency and effective marketing strategies, which build and promote the College's communication plan and brand.
- Creatively designing and producing promotional pieces.
- Assisting with developing, monitoring, and maintaining social media platforms.
- Collaborating with Academic Affairs and the Assistant Director of Marketing to facilitate the ongoing promotion of the College and its programs by placing necessary enrollment materials on the website and integrated third-party platforms.
- Following and integrating emerging web technologies to help the college achieve its marketing communication objectives more effectively and efficiently.
- Keeping abreast of tools, trends, and enhancements that can improve user experience and recommending additional tools needed to support the overall user experience and school initiatives.
Salary Information
The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as communications, marketing, or graphic design.
- At least 2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in higher education.
- Excellent design and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
