Position: Senior Mechanical Estimator

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Estimator to enhance our Preconstruction Team. This role is based in Raleigh, NC, with the flexibility to work remotely while occasionally visiting our offices in various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Thoroughly review and interpret project documentation, requirements, and specifications
  • Lead and manage a team of estimators
  • Assess labor and equipment expenses
  • Evaluate bid documents and identify project risks
  • Compile bid packages and scrutinize subcontractor and supplier proposals
  • Engage in effective communication with clients
  • Create cost models and monitor fluctuations in material and labor prices
Required Qualifications:
  • Essential Competencies

  • Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5-10 years of pertinent experience
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Familiarity with electrical contractors and suppliers
  • Understanding of both union and merit shop projects is advantageous
