Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials Recovery Associate to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the proper handling, containerization, and disposal of regulated waste at our client's facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and separate disposed materials in accordance with California State regulations and client procedures
  • Maintain collection areas in accordance with California State Regulations and client procedures
  • Conduct inspections of receptacles and accumulation areas to ensure requirements are followed
  • Order new accumulation containers as required
  • Initiate pickup requests when receptacles are at or near capacity
  • Report exceptions to supervisor and client management
  • Use required methods and procedures in inspecting, identifying, and correcting problems
  • Responsible for daily inspections of all equipment including but not limited to operational effectiveness and cleanliness
  • Submission of all reports upon completion of each site
  • Responsible for maintaining maximum number of monthly deviations set by operations management
Requirements
  • A working vehicle that is 20 years old or newer
  • Background in material handling
  • No reckless driving or DUI charges within the last 5 years
