We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Northern Nevada Medical Center. As a key member of our Environmental Services department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our housekeeping team, ensuring a clean, safe, and healthy environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership and guidance to our housekeeping team, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Departmental Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Environmental Services department, including developing and implementing policies and procedures, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Performance Improvement: Participate in the department's performance improvement activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance the quality of our services.
  • Team Development: Foster a positive and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration among our housekeeping team members.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED).
  • Experience: A minimum of two to five (2-5) years of experience in healthcare environmental services, with previous supervisory experience preferred.
