Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized HR Coordinator to join our team at the State of Colorado. As an HR Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the recruitment, onboarding, and records management processes for our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and respond to recruitment emails in a timely manner
  • Assign and manage position numbers
  • Process and assist in recruitment activities, including data entry in applicable systems
  • Route and track requisitions in NeoGov
  • Enter all requisition information in applicable Smartsheet
  • Process reviewed job postings and post with approval from the Talent Acquisition Manager
  • Schedule screening and kickoff meetings as needed
  • Conduct routine audits of personnel information in applicable HR/Payroll systems
  • Create, monitor, update, and audit electronic personnel records
  • Provide back-up support to monitor and respond to emails in the HR Inbox
  • Develop a rapport with internal customers and focus on quality and timely customer service
  • Ensure principles of confidentiality are adhered to in every aspect of their work
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition or Office Management with knowledge of administration, onboarding, and recruitment functions
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel/Word)
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Must be able to perform work independently as well as collaborate with the team
  • Extreme attention to detail required, including the ability to audit and identify and correct errors
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must express a positive attitude and be able to diffuse difficult situations
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
Working Conditions

This position is eligible for a hybrid flex work place, and the incumbent is required to maintain a home office within Colorado and report to the office as needed to complete the job duties of this position.

Salary Range

The salary range listed is the department's good faith range expected to be offered.
