Key Responsibilities
Under direct supervision, you will adhere to established procedures to fulfill assigned tasks, which include:
- Conducting minor repairs and performing preventive maintenance on designated equipment.
- Completing necessary documentation using fleet maintenance software for vehicle repairs, parts usage, and repair time tracking.
- Assisting in the repair and adjustment of equipment.
- Washing vehicles and equipment as needed.
- Conducting safety inspections on vehicles.
- Supporting senior technicians in project completion.
- Responding to service calls for breakdowns.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Education: Not required.
- Experience: No prior work experience necessary.
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States. Ability to meet the physical demands of the position with or without reasonable accommodations. Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and physical examination is required.
Work Environment
The role involves:
- Utilizing motor coordination and finger dexterity for most of the workday.
- Exerting physical effort in handling objects of varying weights.
- Exposure to occupational hazards such as cuts, burns, and toxic chemicals.
- Working in environments with dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes.
