As a Dock and Door Technician with Modern Group Ltd., you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our customers\u2019 industrial equipment. This includes performing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting, as well as repairing and installing adjustable docks, overhead doors, and other industrial products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnoses of equipment issues
  • Perform repairs and installations of industrial equipment, including docks, doors, and levelers
  • Order and manage parts inventory, communicating with the Parts Department as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service, keeping customers informed of job status and parts availability
  • Utilize online manuals and training resources to stay up-to-date on equipment maintenance and repair
  • Collaborate with service management to schedule follow-up repairs and optimize billing
  • Ensure a safe and professional work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
Requirements
  • Valid driver\u2019s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work at heights
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
