The CT Technologist PRN performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of ionizing radiation in accordance with established professional and departmental standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assist and position patients on the CT table with compassion and care.
- Start IVs for contrast injection and perform necessary procedures.
- Assess image quality and make adjustments as needed.
- Release patients with proper post-procedure instructions.
- Turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
- Current License as an MRT by the State of Texas required.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (CT) required.
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
