Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Handler III to join our team at APL Logistics Americas. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for providing safe, efficient, and accurate handling of customer products and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading customer products and materials using forklifts and other equipment
  • Accurately locating and loading customer products onto pallets, trays, and shelves
  • Counting, weighing, and recording materials handled on daily production sheets
  • Completing specialized order processing tasks, including stenciling, slip-sheeting, and labeling
  • Inspecting and repairing equipment, and reporting any defects to supervisors
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • Two years of forklift/tow motor experience, including fork lift certification
  • Knowledge of inventory control and general warehouse procedures
  • Light data entry skills required
  • Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions, and interpret safety rules and procedures
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with frequent lifting, bending, and standing. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
