The Financial Analyst is responsible for delivering comprehensive reporting and analysis for national vending and office coffee clients. This role also includes supporting the Senior Financial Analyst and department manager with various analytical requests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct reports and profitability assessments
  • Oversee and reconcile inter-company commission transactions
  • Prepare precise and timely Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR)
  • Design and implement pricing strategies
  • Generate trend analyses for clients, Senior Client Services Directors, and internal inquiries as required
  • Facilitate effective communication with Senior Client Services Directors, branch management, and client representatives
  • Produce accurate and timely ad-hoc reports for clients and Senior Financial Analysts
  • Ensure the correct setup of assigned clients to minimize order adjustments and inaccuracies in client reporting
  • Guarantee that all client commission payments and reports are accurate and delivered punctually to Senior Client Services Directors and clients
  • Balance all intercompany commission transfers to sector partners and submit them for processing to finance with appropriate documentation
  • Complete all ad-hoc financial analyses and assigned projects by the agreed deadlines

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline is required
  • Preferred experience of one (1) year, with two (2) years strongly preferred, in general ledger, financial reporting, financial analysis, and auditing
  • Strong skills in relational databases and/or enterprise resource planning systems (ERP) are essential
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required; advanced proficiency is preferred
  • Excellent time management skills are necessary, with flexibility in scheduling to meet deadlines
  • Ability to define problems, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions with minimal guidance is crucial
  • Understanding the financial implications of business decisions and quantifying those implications is essential
  • Familiarity with SAP and/or J.D. Edwards or equivalent software is preferred
  • Knowledge of Business Objects or similar reporting tools is advantageous
  • Experience with MS Access databases is preferred
