Financial Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at Pyramid Consulting, Inc. This is a 06+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Minneapolis, MN.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct contract audits and provide business consulting services to ensure referral compensation was paid out correctly.
  • Support the Corporate Payment System team by providing value-added cost analysis, post-award audit functions, writing and preparing exhibits, and providing financial audit advisory services.
  • Develop expertise in the contract auditing process, serving as an independent auditor, and ensuring that the prices Elan pays for Commercial Credit cards are accurate according to each contract.
  • Provide financial analyses related to budgets, forecasting, allocation of expenses, ad hoc analysis for business case development, and custom financial analyses.
  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets and statistical models for financial analysis.
  • Prepare a variety of management presentations.
  • Research and resolve problems and errors in data from financial reporting systems.
  • May provide assistance in the development of financial applications.
  • May prepare interest rate pricing and forecasting information for use in asset and liability management.

  • Sysco Reporting Tool
  • Power BI
  • Accounting and/or financial experience
