As a seasoned finance professional, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's financial performance. Your key responsibilities will include managing and executing cost accounting functions, conducting regular financial analysis, and preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual operating results for each department.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and execute cost accounting functions, including inventory valuation, cost of goods sold, product margin analysis, and manufacturing overhead.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis, interpreting data, and providing actionable recommendations to management.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual operating results for each department.
  • Collaborate with departmental heads to prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement effective financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Provide support for internal and external audits by preparing necessary documents and explanations.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects, providing financial expertise and insights.
  • Work closely with the management team to identify cost savings and profit enhancement opportunities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA certification will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, financial reporting, and managing the general ledger.
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
  • Proficient in financial software systems and databases, with a strong understanding of MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing a successful team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions based on data analysis.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
