About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Junior Purchaser for Procurement Management to join our team at SilverLion Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery of materials
  • Consolidate procurement needs and create calendars for responsible product groups, analyzing national and international markets to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Design and implement purchasing strategies, negotiate with suppliers, and manage supplier relationships to optimize costs and quality
  • Identify and leverage bundling and standardization potential, contribute to the design of global procurement processes, and drive cost reduction initiatives
  • Develop and maintain reports and analyses in procurement, analyzing and optimizing supply chain processes
  • Monitor and analyze plan tracking, deviation analysis, and develop solutions to improve procurement processes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a commercial apprenticeship
  • Professional experience in strategic purchasing, high IT affinity, and experience in digitization, data analysis, and IT projects
  • Experience with business analytics tools, databases, and data visualization
  • Strategic and analytical skills, strong understanding of numbers, and excellent communication skills in German (C1+) and English
