Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive culinary services program that meets the needs of our residents.
  • Supervise and manage the culinary services team, including interviewing, hiring, and training staff.
  • Research and develop new menu ideas and programs that meet the dietary needs of our residents.
  • Meet or exceed budgetary and financial guidelines for food and beverage services.
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in the research, preparation, and writing of the department budget.
  • Ensure that all food and beverage services meet the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety.
Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in culinary arts or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years' experience as an executive chef or in a similar role.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in administration and management of food service systems.
  • Senior living community experience preferred.
  • Current state-required sanitation certification/license.
  • Valid driver's license consistent with the requirements determined by size of vehicle and laws of the state in which the driver is licensed.
