DMV Clerk

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented DMV Clerk to join our team at Swickard Auto Group. As a DMV Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth processing of vehicle titles and registrations.

• Process title paperwork for new and pre-owned vehicle retail transactions
• Prepare tax and title documents for out-of-state transactions
• Ensure accurate documentation is obtained for all titling transactions
• Submit authorized title transfers to the Department of Motor Vehicles
• Compile and maintain a complete list of outstanding title work
• Work closely with out-of-state titling services, DMVs, auctions, and regulatory agencies
• Stay up-to-date on current federal and state laws regarding vehicle title processing
• Attend training and seminars on title regulations and changes
• Maintain a professional appearance and organized work area
• Perform basic accounting functions
• Assist in processing car deal contracts and related vehicle sales documentation

• Automotive title experience required
• Previous county and DMV experience a plus
• Ability to work in a high-volume capacity with accuracy
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Time management skills to meet strict deadlines
• Effective communication skills with customers, coworkers, and regulatory agencies
• Valid driver's license
